Ashley Meehan, a Pennsylvania native found her passion working in the Substance Abuse and Mental health field. She became an internationally certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, to further help individuals who struggle to find a path to recovery, and begin to truly believe happiness is possible for them. She relocated in 2018 to carry out the vision of Carolina Recovery Solutions. She has a wide variety of experience in Program Development, Admissions, training, and implementation, customer service, utilization review, credentialing, public speaking, business development, billing, and much more! Although she is a quick study at whatever she puts her mind to, she describes her career as “what she is meant to do.” She can identify with both the individual struggling, as well as the family affected by their loved one’s addiction. In her free time, she enjoys gem mining, swimming, playing piano, church, and spending time with her family.
A message from Ashley; What comes from the heart reaches the heart. I do this work because I know recovery is possible for any individual, no matter what their background is, where they came from, how hopeless they may feel or how many people have given up on them, I know recovery is still possible for them. There isn’t a better feeling in this world than watching someone come into treatment totally broken, feeling hopeless, appearing lifeless, start doing the work, begin to change, and grow! When the light starts coming back and the smiles are present on their faces again, that is why we do what we do. If we can help a person change their life by believing in them and helping them start to believe in themselves, then I know anything is possible for them! Carolina Recovery Solutions is a program that offers a wide variety of services like other treatment centers, but what separates us from the rest is how much we truly care about you, and the compassion you will feel from every staff member you meet throughout your treatment experience.
