Michelle has been working in the field of addictions and mental health treatment since December of 2000. She graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from Edinboro University, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from West Virginia University. She has served as Clinical Director in several residential and outpatient programs in Pennsylvania. Her areas of expertise are in person-centered treatment and trauma-informed care. She utilizes treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused Therapy. She also has extensive experience in motivational interviewing.
She was born and raised in Northwest Pennsylvania and moved to Asheville this past summer. Michelle is a long-time Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She is an avid reader in her spare time, and enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and 11-year-old son.
