Bio
I am a 30-year-old, charismatic guy from Rockingham County, North Carolina. Raised in a family of 4 and brought up in the same community throughout my adolescence. Graduated from High School in 2010 and went to Community College for a year and a half to study Industrial Technologies. Shortly thereafter, my mother and father divorced and with a broken family, I went on to abuse substances for several years. During this time I found employment with a career that I had a strong passion for, working with engineers to manufacture firearms. I worked there for several years until I found myself at the lowest point of my life, hopelessly addicted and miserable, so I decided to reach out for help. A friend told me about Carolina Recovery Solutions. I reached out and in no time I was accepted and on my way to Asheville with the intention to go for the PHP program and return home. I quickly came to realize that I needed more time to heal. So I decided to enroll into IOP. I realized that I had to set boundaries with myself and others in order to heal and decided that leaving Asheville was not in my best interest. With a new home and hope, it was not long after that I started working at a sober living house, quickly realizing that I had a passion for working in Recovery. I learned quickly and applied myself in any way I could to be of service to our clients. I was very thankful when I was offered a career here at Carolina Recovery Solutions as their Behavioral Health Technician. I look forward to helping others in the same way that I was at the start of my Journey here.
